Kardashian is an Ass

That is what is known as a perfect headline.

With the exception of God-given features (and perhaps those created by some of Beverly Hills' finest surgeons), can somebody please explain to me what is Kim Kardashian's actual talent?

Homemade movies and flings with star athletes and entertainers will not be considered as a legit talent.

I can't believe that she receives the amount of national media attention that she does....but hey, as long as they spell your name right, "all publicity is good publicity", right?

Kardashian's announcement that she is divorcing her NBA husband.....(I guess it's just "husband", since the NBA no longer exists)...after just 72 days of marital bliss is one of the biggest cons in modern time. It is hard to believe that she was paid up to 18 million bucks for the sham wedding and it's sad to think the NBA schmuck actually thought the wedding process was on the up-and-up.

That's all I've got to say about that nonsense.....what a farce.

In honor of Kim Kardashian and all of her hidden talents, let's give a shout-out to the MAC....the Mid-American Conference.

The MAC will have conference games televised and played on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and of course Saturday of this week.

While everyone focuses on the major game of the week between LSU and Bama....it is the mighty MAC that is generating all the national exposure.

Of all of their games this week, I'd have to say Thursday night's game between Akron (1-7) and Miami, OH (3-5) has all the makings of our Kim Kardashian College Game of the Week.

There's nothing like primetime exposure for no apparent reason.....so congrats to the MAC, for maximizing their conference the week of the biggest game of the college football season.

Speaking of LSU and Bama, who do you like this week?

The game has been analyzed from every possible angle on my SiriusXM show for the past couple of weeks.....and I'm just thrilled that the big day will soon be here.

I'm exhausted from talking and thinking about it....face it: both teams are loaded with great talent and coaching.

Let's kick it off and see what happens.

If I had to pick a winner, I'd probably lean....and it's a slight lean...to Bama. But this game is so close, that a LSU win wouldn't faze or surprise me one bit.

The bigger question surrounding this game is what happens to the loser in the next round of the BCS Standings?

How far does Bama or LSU drop, if they lose a close game....or even if it is a double-digit margin?

There are already whispers and talks about a rematch for the national title. Personally, I don't like that idea. If you are not good enough to win your conference title, then you shouldn't be allowed to win or even play for the national title. If there was a playoff or some type of post-season tourney, that would be different.

The SEC has had 13 match-ups between Top 5 SEC teams since 1980. In both 2008 and 2009, the SEC had #1 vs. #2 match-ups, but both of them involved the SEC title game between Florida and Bama.

It has the makings of a classic heavyweight fight....I'm ready for kick-off, especially after getting my fill of MAC football all week.

I mentioned last week on the SiriusXM show that I thought Clemson and OK State were incredibly entertaining to watch....both were good enough to win their respective conference championships, but I didn't think they had the defenses in place to truly contend for the national title this year.

Clemson was physically manhandled by Georgia Tech in the trenches. The Jackets could run for days and the Tigers were not able to stop Paul Johnson's wicked triple option attack.

The good news for Clemson is that they get an open date to rest up before they host Wake Forest in Death Valley. The Deacs will be coming off a game against Notre Dame, and something tells me that the Tigers roll the Deacs and clinch a spot in the ACC title game.

Oklahoma State, on the other hand, continues to roll....as their record runs to 8-0. Up next for OSU is Kansas State. Bill Snyder's club has been a great story this year, but their 15 minutes of fame is about up for the year. OK State blew-out Baylor, 59-24....however, the worrisome defense gave up 622 yards....36 first downs......and allowed Baylor to run 105 offensive plays.

Just like Clemson, OK State is fun to watch and explosive....but if you want to win the national title, you've got to defend and tackle.

The Carolina Panthers found a new way to lose a game....this time, it was a chip-shot FG that did in Charlotte's NFL franchise.

So the club has reached the halfway point with a 2-6 record.

They have been more exciting and competitive than in years past, however they simply make too many mistakes.

The 2-6 mark is about the worst this team could possibly be at this point in the season.

Cam Newton and Steve Smith continue to put up great numbers and that's encouraging...hopefully that continues in the 2nd half, as both players stay relatively healthy.

There are other parts of the club that are average at best....and in the NFL, you can't hide everything from your opponent.

I picked the club to go 5-11 before the season, and that record will be close.....but in the big picture, this team has made big strides from a year ago. I just wished that the local media would stop treating the club as a playoff team....they are a far cry from that level.

You have to remember that in the last year and a half, the Panthers have won 4 of their last 24 games....with some decent drafts, good health and a few breaks, the Panthers will be back in the playoff picture.
